Gaton Model 655 Dry Pumping Station

The pump station is used to pump down and bake out the Gatan cryo holders in preparation for cryo electron microscopy on the CM120BT.

The Leica GP2 is operational in room 336 of Bio Unit 1. Speak to David B. for use, scheduling, or training.

The Nikon spinning disc confocal in 336A is ONLINE. Spacial rearrangement allows the door to be fully closed now to limit external light. The incubator air box has been installed and confirmed operational.

Be sure to use the lenses appropriately (oil vs water immersion). When cleaning lenses, 'Sparkle' is recommended. Look for it near the instrument and clean up after yourself.
